Great Lakes airlines announced new daily service from Ely to Las Vegas McCarran International Airport effective May 15, 2011. This will replace the current service to Denver International Airport.

Great Lakes is providing scheduled passenger service at 56 airports in fourteen states with a fleet of Embraer EMB-120 Brasilias and Raytheon/Beech 1900D regional airliners.
Ely to Las Vegas:
Flight ZK 5190 Departs 4:15p Arrives 5:30p Operates Daily
Las Vegas to Ely:
Flight ZK 5032 Departs 2:50p Arrives 4:05p Operates Daily
John Lampros, Chairman, White Pine County Commission states “It has been a commitment of White Pine County and Great Lakes Airlines to do what they could in securing flights to Las Vegas to better benefit the citizens of the county. The change will reconnect White Pine County to the rest of the state. Welcome to Ely Airport - Yelland Field (ELY), a public, county-owned facility serving Ely and White Pine County, Nevada. Our two runways handle private, passenger and commercial traffic. The airport is located approximately three miles from downtown Ely.
