The government of Wuhou District said earlier this week that the dis-trict will speed up the infrastructural enhancement in the Rennan Scientifi c C Commercial Functional Community
by introducing more high-standard hotels and residential buildings. On July 17, a fi ve-star hotel invested by Minyoun Group opened at the com-munity, and the government signed an agreement worth RMB1 billion the same day with a real estate company from the Hong Kong SAR on building another
five-star hotel in the area.
The Rennan Scientifi c C Commer-cial Functional Community lies at the southern reach of the Renminnan Road, the axial thoroughfare of the city, and a large number of Global 500 companies
and international institutions fi nd home in its area.
